Test and treat your UTI at home

The future of UTI diagnostics is here. Get precision testing and treatment with the BIOTIA-ID Urine Test.

Say goodbye to UTI.

Who is this test for?

Are you tired of constant urinary tract infections (UTIs), multiple doctor's visits for treatments that don't work, and ultimately no answers? Are you at higher risk of UTIs or complications from UTIs? The BIOTIA-ID Urine Test may be for you.

Patients with recurrent and/or complicated UTIs have been ignored by the healthcare system for too long. That's why Biotia has engaged with leading clinicians and researchers in UTI care and infectious disease diagnostics to develop a full service, test-to-treat model of care. With a scientifically rigorous test and a team of providers specifically trained to help patients with recurrent and/or complicated UTI, you can trust Biotia to provide both the answers and treatment you need.

Put an end to the cycle.
Order the BIOTIA-ID Urine Test today.

The BIOTIA-ID Urine Test is for patients who have a recurrent, complicated, or culture-negative urinary tract infection.

  • Recurrent UTI: having two or more symptomatic UTIs within a six month period, or three or more symptomatic urinary tract infections within a year.
  • Complicated UTI: a UTI in a patient who has certain risk factors, such as pregnancy, immunocompromised status, advanced age, catheterization, structural/functional abnormalities of the urogenital track, and others.
  • Culture-Negative UTI: urine culture is the first-line test for UTIs, however, it misses as many as 1/3 of cases. Not all bacteria and fungi grow in urine culture. If you received a negative urine culture result but still have symptoms of a UTI, you may benefit from the BIOTIA-ID Urine Test.

How is our test different?

Our test uses cutting edge technology called next-generation sequencing (NGS). Rather than trying to grow the pathogens from your urine, we look at all of the pathogen DNA in your sample to determine which ones are present. This includes DNA from bacteria and fungi that are difficult to grow in urine culture, but we can still identify, making our test more accurate than the standard of care. In addition, we are able to give health care providers guidance on selecting antimicrobials to treat your infection – helping to ensure you are getting the most precise treatment available.

How does it work?

We have worked closely with out telehealth partner to streamline the process for wraparound UTI care. Simply purchase the test, set up your account on the Biotia Portal, collect and send your sample, and receive precise and personalized follow-up care and treatment.

"This cutting-edge technology allows for more precise and timely identification of atypical urogenital pathogens that often evade standard testing methods. By bridging this diagnostic gap, NGS technology may become an invaluable tool in tailoring targeted and effective treatment plans, ultimately elevating the standard of care for our most vulnerable patients suffering from complicated and recurrent UTI."
